The Biker Art Series uses a technique called pointillism to render the illusion of chrome and shiny surfaces. This technique lends itself nicely to the rendering of motorcycles, yet it is time consuming. Each Biker Art original took up to 60 hours to complete. Each original was made with India ink and a .5mm tech. pen, to place the dots in such a way to give the illusion of shades of grey. Pointillism is a technique associated with impressionist movement, and is best viewed at a distance to allow the eye to "blend" the dots.

As with all the prints available at FBD, you can order yours in a variety of mounting options. Unmounted: The print is delivered to you, the Collector, unmounted, so that you may choose to have it framed yourself. Standard Mounting: The print is dry-mounted to a sturdy board, with a matte laminate finish to protect the print and reduce glare, and a black edge.
Premium Mounting: The print is dry-mounted to a sturdy board, with a complimentary mat colour, either a gold or silver trim, a matte laminate finish to protect and reduce glare, and a black edge. Each print also comes with it's own Certificate of Authenticity attesting to its number in the limited print-run.
